Let’s Hear it for the “Search Angels”

Public records research brought a little peace of mind to many people searching for friends and loved ones in the aftermath of California’s devastating Camp Fire.  As more and more posts hit Facebook requesting help locating the missing, volunteers who usually help adoptees find their birth parents snapped into action and helped connect 250 people with those looking for them.  The group, which organizes itself through the Facebook Search Squad group, used their research skills to comb through social media posts, property, marriage and other public records to help friends and family find the displaced. Great job Search Angels!  Read more on this amazing work here.
