As of 9am Pacific time this morning, the National Archives made President Nixon's Watergate-related grand jury testimony publicly available. The Nixon testimony and "associated materials" was released pursuant to an order by Judge Royce Lamberth -- Chief Judge of the US District Court for the District of Columbia. After receiving a petition requesting that the records be released, Lamberth ruled that their historical significance merited their release despite the universal prohibition on the release of grand jury records.
